E-Agriculture: E-Agriculture is a short form of electronic agriculture. In essence, the process of supplying agricultural activities through electronic flow is the process of e-agriculture. It requires computers, modems, internet, mobile phones, and modern electronic equipment. Using these modern information and communication technologies, it is possible to obtain low-cost agricultural equipment, weather, production, storage, processing, marketing and market information in less time.
E-Agriculture Why:
Digital Bangladesh will not be able to create a digital Bangladesh if it can not make the movement of agricultural data in Bangladesh. So e-agriculture is the time demand now. Agriculture is a dynamic science. Through innovation every new innovation is being invented. But if these technologies do not reach the farmers in time, then its benefits will not be available. In our country, the population is increasing at one go, whereas the amount of arable land is decreasing. In this situation, producing more food on less land is a big challenge for Bangladesh. Meanwhile, conventional farming technology takes a long time to reach the farmer. Often these are no longer useful. As a result, the benefits of new inventive agricultural technologies are not reflected in the field. Considering these issues, it is very important to use e-agriculture.
